Rally car racing, or “rallying” as it is often called, is popular for good reasons. It's an intense and fun sport that you can get into without having a million dollar sponsor. The adrenaline of the sport is accessible to those willing to modify their racing vehicle with performance parts and mod kits – or, of course, just invest in a car that's already been modified. Many of us need to build these cars gradually, however, as we continue to get into the sport. As a result, rally car parts need to purchased and installed gradually as we continue to go into it. But which ones should you invest in first? Once you've bought a car that's modification ready, you'll want to start out with a mod kid. These modification kits will increase the overall performance of your vehicle, lift your top speed, and often provide some other fun advantages (like better gas mileage in some cases). From there, the best advice is to drive your car and see what areas it seems to be falling short in. Maybe the cooling is a little off? If so, there are rally car parts that help with that. Maybe you want better fuel efficiency? There are injectors, hardware, and even microchips that can help. Everything from steering wheels and tires to suspensions and style enhancers are available. The hierarchy should depend on what's hurting most, but you should
always leave money in reserve in case you need to fix or replace
a part, or find a major issue or area that requires improvement.
Always leave the items that are for appearance (like spoilers or
alterations to your interior) until last. Even though they may look
nice, looking at them will give you a pang of regret if you realize
that money could have gone to an engine enhancement or something
else that helps to improve your vehicle's overall. |
