There are so many branches of mobile electronics these days that it's difficult to know where to start.  It used to be that there were only small or highly expensive parts that helped increase your enjoyment of your vehicle.  Now, there are so many different forms of mobile electronics that we're all using them.  The question now is whether or not we're using them to maximum effect.

Mobile Electronics for Enjoyment

You can include many different forms of “in car entertainment” in this category.  Car audio systems are now run almost entirely off of electronic systems.  These car audio systems can be modified more easily now than ever before, with CD and MP3 players being simple to buy and install.  You can always install more intense audio systems as well in order to enjoy your ride.

While it's more for your passengers than you (we hope), DVD players can also be lumped pretty easily into this category.  Everything from tiny screens to full sized players and screens, or even multiple screens in the same car, can be a great way to make long road trips more enjoyable for everyone.

Mobile Electronics for Improved Driving

In a similar category to the previously mentioned mobile electronics, navigation systems are a new way to make sure that you enjoy your driving in the right way.  When we discuss “maximizing fuel efficiency,” this less than obvious tactic can really be seen to decrease fuel costs.  Taking the right turn every time means less driving, means less consumption.

Then, most importantly, computer chips to help improve the actual core performance of your engine remain a cornerstone of this market.
